Although usually drawn to bigger and more elaborate designs, I love this simple chain necklace. The three Asarwa beads come from Ethiopia and are decorated with subtle yet eye-catching circular patterns. Each bead in our silver, gold, and mixed metal versions is chosen by hand in our Brooklyn studio. When each bead is that special, who needs more than three?
