Since the punk-rock 70’s when Urbanspace founded London's Camden Lock Market, to New York at Holidays, thousands of chefs and designers on both sides of the Atlantic have found their start at Urbanspace markets.
Founded in 1972 as the brainchild of Eric Reynolds, Urbanspace has revamped derelict city spaces and created dozens of vibrant destinations. Urbanspace-conceived markets at Camden Lock and Spitalfields draw millions of visitors a year.
In 1993, Eldon Scott decamped for New York, creating the first holiday markets in Manhattan. Since then, Scott has developed holiday, gift and food markets throughout the United States attracting nearly 8 million people.
